Business Process Management Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Process Management Specialist to join our team at kloeckner.i GmbH. As a key member of our Digital Hub, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company by designing and automating business processes across the entire value chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Documentation and Knowledge Management
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all key business processes in a central business process landscape, ensuring they are accessible, transparent, and up-to-date.
    • Create and manage a centralized knowledge repository that houses process documentation, guidelines, and best practices.
  • System Administration and Celonis Application Ownership
    • Act as the primary owner and administrator for business process management system (Celonis), ensuring they are effectively utilized and maintained.
    • Develop and maintain a lasting connection between business processes and IT Application Architecture (LeanIX and Celonis interface).
  • Enablement and Training
    • Deliver training programs to educate employees on business processes, application usage, and best practices.
    • Provide process and application training as part of the onboarding process for new employees.
  • Strategic Process Management and Business Process Optimization
    • Provide strategic consulting to project teams and departments on process design, improvement opportunities, and alignment with business goals.
    • Participate in strategic projects, offering expertise in process management and ensuring that project outcomes support long-term business objectives.
    • Analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
    • Lead business process optimization initiatives that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall operational effectiveness.
    • Identify opportunities for process innovation and automation, leveraging technology to streamline operations and improve productivity.
    Requirements
    • University degree in economics, IT, or a comparable field.
    • At least three years of experience in the field of business process management.
    • Sound knowledge of common modeling languages (e.g., BPMN, EPK) as well as tool-based process modeling and process measurement.
    • Good business understanding of supply chain processes in their context.
    • Familiar with the processes in ERP systems, preferably SAP and Symbio.
    • Knowledge of data analysis, process KPIs, and benchmarks.
    • Knowledge of digital tools is an advantage (e.g., RPA, AI, workflow automation).
    • Experience in conducting workshops and training sessions as well as working with traditional and agile project management methods.
    • Ideally, expertise in management of change and communication.
    • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
    • Enjoy teamwork and communication, IT affinity, strong analytical skills.
