Fire Protection Consultant

TüV Süd Global Risk Consultants (GRC) is a leading provider of property loss control services worldwide. Our team of experts offers a comprehensive portfolio of services, including fire protection engineering, boiler and machinery engineering, infrared thermographic surveys, and more.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct property loss control surveys to evaluate exposures at client facilities based on NFPA standards and others as appropriate.
- Develop recommendations based on standards to include loss estimates before and after completion of the recommendations.
- Evaluate automatic fire protection and water supply systems.
- Report and evaluate building construction, occupancy, special and natural hazards.
- Develop loss estimates based on scenarios such as the Maximum Foreseeable Loss.
- Provide training and peer review for other consultants; serve as a technical resource to other consultants.
- Services provided to clients include training, manual and program development, code or regulatory interpretation.
- May prepare and present proposals, develop service instructions, solicit client feedback and prepare stewardship reports.
- Work assigned is typical of higher technical need as well as being in direct contact with upper client management, including risk managers, financial managers, and other decision-makers.
- Four Year College Degree- engineering preferred.
- May hold any of the following certifications or be working toward Professional Engineer License (PE), Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS).
- 3-5 years of consulting experience in fire and property loss control.
- Ability to manage your own workload.
- Recognized technical expertise.
- Computer literate.
