Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Assistant Quality Control to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting our Quality Control and R&D functions, ensuring the quality and potency of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform testing of materials and products in accordance with PQS Policies and Procedures
  • Support the tech transfer of analytical methods into QC
  • Participate in the validation and verification of analytical test methods
  • Participate in the qualification of laboratory equipment
  • Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment
  • Write and review QC documents, test results, and summary reports
  • Assist the Director QC with Change Controls, Deviations, and CAPA investigations
  • Ensure a safe work environment
  • Work with organisms of risk groups 1 and 2
Research & Development (R&D) Tasks
  • Execute all cell culture measures to maintain routine cell culture and perform various assay formats
  • Collaborate in the development and qualification of cell-based assays to determine the biological activity and safety of viral vectors
  • Collaborate in the development and qualification of various assay readouts (ELISA, enzymatic activity assays, TCID50, ddPCR) including statistical analysis
  • Create lab procedures, development reports, and qualification reports
  • Perform tasks for general laboratory organization and maintenance of laboratory operations
Requirements
  • Technical assistant (BTA, CTA) or similar in Life Sciences or related field
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and interest in statistics
  • Understanding of the principles of GMP
  • Good written and oral communication skills in German and English
