Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX Designer to join our team at AVATR. As a Senior UX Designer, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional digital experiences and leading the design of luxury in-car and mobile experiences.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for user-centered design and a keen interest in the future of user experience in next-generation connected cars. You will be responsible for designing and developing high-level and detailed user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design luxury in-car and mobile experiences.
  • Innovate in the fields of voice and touch interaction within digital/physical/mobility experiences.
  • Lead and collaborate with designers, engineers, researchers, and external partners.
  • Develop high-level and/or detailed user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate interaction and design ideas effectively.
  • Create prototype systems for usability testing as needed.
  • Sketch or digitally visualize high-level interaction concepts, user journeys, and articulate stories.
  • Research and benchmark interaction trends to stay ahead of industry advancements.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in consumer products, including UX architecture, interaction, or information design.
  • A robust portfolio demonstrating UX and UI design on real products.
  • Proven experience in building and testing prototypes.
  • Mastery of design tools (Sketch, Adobe suite, etc.).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • BA/BS in Design (Human Interaction, User Experience, Graphic, Product, Industrial, etc.), HCI, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior designers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing automotive interfaces or applications.
  • Experience with luxury automotive brands (US, EU, and China).
  • Voice user interaction experience.
  • Expertise in crafting high-level visual concepts for CE products.
  • Experience creating multi-lingual digital product interfaces.
