Grid Connection Manager (Renewables)

Amber Renewables is seeking an experienced Grid Connection Manager to join our team in Germany. As a leading renewable energy company, we are committed to developing, implementing, and operating solar power plants across Europe.

Our mission is to contribute to the growth of renewable energy, particularly PV solar, in Germany, while promoting biodiversity and species protection through our well-planned and constructed solar power plants.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare network compatibility tests at medium-voltage and high-voltage levels with the support of external consultants.
  • Coordinate and track grid connection activities throughout project development, from inception to commissioning.
  • Advise team members on utility statements regarding grid connection applications.
  • Coordinate and review external services and costs associated with the connection measures for solar power plants.
  • Apply for and extend network reservations, ensuring compliance with necessary requirements in coordination with network operators.

Requirements:

  • Completed vocational training as an electrician, electrical engineer, electronics master (f/m/d), and/or a degree in electrical engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of energy technology, renewable energy, and grid connection; experience in project management is a plus.
  • Ideally, experience with Power Factory and AutoCAD Viewer or similar programs.
  • Strong initiative, confident demeanor, and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Possession of a class B driving license.
