Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our grid connection and energy storage efforts. As the Head of Grid Connection and Energy Storage, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to identify and secure new projects for battery storage initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical guidance and support to the team in developing and implementing grid connection and energy storage projects
- Collaborate with network operators and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including network operators, suppliers, and partners
- Lead the development and implementation of energy storage projects, including feasibility studies, project planning, and execution
- Manage and coordinate the work of a team of network connection managers to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
- Develop and implement strategies to identify and secure new projects for battery storage initiatives
- Collaborate with the business development team to identify new business opportunities and develop proposals
- Provide technical expertise and support to the sales team to ensure accurate and effective communication with customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of projects
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful energy storage projects
- Excellent technical and business skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of professionals
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
- Fluent in English and German, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
