Procurement Specialist for Standard Components

For our client in the aerospace sector, we are seeking enthusiastic candidates for the position of Buyer for Standard Parts.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Request For Proposal (RFP) projects and contract renewals.
  • Participate in RFP projects by coordinating necessary documents and tasks with relevant departments (Engineering, R&T, Procurement, Programmes), including the preparation of Selection Reports and Final Awards in accordance with established decisions.
  • Engage in negotiations for Supplemental Commercial Agreements (SCA) or Material Contracts related to RFPs and contract renewals, focusing on de-risking initiatives with potential bidders or existing contract holders.
  • Support the procurement team in implementing policies and objectives, ensuring that de-risking strategies are effectively integrated into contract renewals.
  • Contribute to the development of market strategies based on the current supplier panel, technological insights, and benchmarks in all sourcing activities.
  • Assist in managing supplier contracts, including claims, contractual review meetings, and the establishment of continuous improvement targets (commercial competitiveness, quality, and delivery performance).
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of commercial terms and conditions across all relevant IT systems.

Personal Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills to facilitate information flow.
  • Able to integrate effectively within a team.
  • Demonstrated responsibility, resilience, and organizational capabilities.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain/Logistics.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years in purchasing.
  • At least 4 years in supplier management.
  • 4 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
  • 4 years in contract management.

IT Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Excel with knowledge of advanced functions.
  • Proficient in MS Word with knowledge of advanced functions.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace is advantageous.

Knowledge:

  • Basic knowledge of project management.

Language Proficiency:

  • Proficient in German.
  • Business fluent in English.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with eProcurement is a plus.
  • Previous experience with Airbus is desirable.
