Procurement Specialist for Standard Components

For our esteemed client in the aerospace sector, we are seeking dedicated professionals for the position of Buyer for Standard Parts.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in Request For Proposal (RFP) initiatives and contract renewals.
  • Engage in RFP projects by coordinating essential documents and tasks with relevant departments (Engineering, R&T, Procurement, Programmes), including the preparation of Selection Reports and Final Awards in accordance with established decisions.
  • Participate in negotiations for Supplemental Commercial Agreements (SCA) or Material Contracts related to RFPs and contract renewals, focusing on de-risking projects with potential bidders or existing contract holders.
  • Support buyers in executing defined policies and objectives, ensuring that de-risking strategies are effectively integrated into contract renewals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of market strategies based on the current supplier panel, technological insights, and benchmarking across all sourcing activities.
  • Assist in managing supplier contracts, including handling claims, conducting contractual review meetings, and defining continuous improvement targets (commercial competitiveness, quality, and delivery performance).
  • Ensure the accuracy and compliance of commercial Terms & Conditions across all relevant IT systems.

Personal Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills to facilitate effective information flow.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • High degree of responsibility, resilience, and organizational capabilities.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain/Logistics.

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years in purchasing.
  • At least 4 years in supplier management.
  • 4 years of experience in the aerospace industry.
  • 4 years in contract management.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Excel with knowledge of advanced functions.
  • Competent in MS Word with understanding of detailed functionalities.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace is advantageous.

Knowledge Areas:

  • Basic knowledge of project management.

Language Proficiency:

  • Proficient in German.
  • Business fluent in English.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with eProcurement is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Airbus processes is desirable.
