We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Energy Consultant to join our team in Hamburg or Oldenburg, Germany.

The successful applicant will have a primary focus on the German onshore wind market and will be working in close collaboration with our German and Northern Europe team and colleagues around the globe to provide wind energy engineering and consulting services.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with standing and new clients to understand their needs and develop strategic plans to meet those needs;
  • Leading the preparation of offers and tenders to secure new projects and business opportunities;
  • Managing and participating in wind projects due diligences, including site visits and construction monitoring activities, sometimes abroad;
  • Supporting clients with all project-related matters, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of results;
  • Completing projects without compromising on quality, adhering to company standards and best practices.

To succeed in this role, you will need to showcase the following skills and qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant engineering field, such as renewable energy, offshore and/or maritime industry;
  • Understanding of the German and European wind power industry, including knowledge on onshore wind projects development and construction;
  • Ability to work effectively within a consultancy environment, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Fluency in German and English, Dutch language skills an advantage;
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written;
  • Excellent ability to produce clear written reports and presentations in German and English;
  • Ability to cooperate well with others, share knowledge, experience, and information, and support others in pursuit of team goals;
  • Professional experience in due diligence work of onshore wind projects;
  • Valid driver's license (B);
  • Willingness and ability to travel to wind farm sites, conferences, clients, and internal meetings, also abroad.
