Managing Producer

Wondery, an Amazon company, is a leading podcast studio that specializes in creating engaging, character-driven stories. As a Managing Producer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production processes for our original productions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement production calendars and schedules to ensure timely delivery of episodes.
- Manage show budgets and coordinate production logistics with internal staff and external production companies.
- Act as the main point of contact between the DE team and marketing and ad operations to ensure a smooth production process.
- Build and maintain calendars, budgets, contracts, and facilitate delivery of assets.
- Provide feedback on scripts and sound design for new and ongoing shows as needed.
- Experience in overseeing creative aspects of development, production, and post-production.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to pivot and creatively problem-solve.
- A systematic or process-driven approach to projects with a bias for action.
- Strong leadership and diplomatic communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of the podcast industry.
- Experience as a producer, production manager, or line producer.
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost reporting.
- Experience with on-set problem-solving.
- Fluent in German and English (C1+ level).
