Managing Producer

Wondery, an Amazon company, is a leading premium podcast studio that specializes in creating engaging, character-driven stories. As a Managing Producer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production processes for our original productions, ensuring that our shows remain on schedule and on budget.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement production calendars and schedules for multiple podcast productions.
- Manage deliverable schedules and show budgets, ensuring timely and cost-effective production.
- Coordinate production logistics with internal staff and external production companies, ensuring seamless collaboration.
- Act as the primary point of contact between the DE Podcast Content team and other Wondery departments, facilitating the delivery of needed assets.
- Oversee and support producers with remote and studio recordings, ensuring high-quality production.
- Provide feedback on scripts and sound design for new and ongoing shows, contributing to the creative development of our content.
- A team player with excellent project management skills, able to pivot and creatively problem-solve.
- Experience overseeing creative aspects of development, production, and post-production.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with a bias for action and self-direction.
- Deep knowledge of the podcast industry and effective leadership skills.
- Experience as a producer, production manager, or line producer.
- Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and cost reporting.
- Experience with on-set problem-solving and managing multiple productions.
- Fluency in German and English (C1+ level).
