Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at SCHMID. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services. Your primary duties will include:
- Definition of parts to be inspected and creation of inspection plans and algorithms in SAP
- Execution of incoming goods inspections according to inspection plans and drawings, status definition of the inspected parts in the system (SAP)
- Creation of initial sample reports and inspection and release of initial sample parts
- Execution of optical, mechanical, and electrical measuring and test procedures and functional checks
- Creation, processing, and completion of Q-reports in SAP, including documentation of causes, corrective actions taken, and their effectiveness
- Clarification of technical defects for externally procured parts with suppliers
- Support of the purchasing department in the commercial processing of defective material deliveries
- Definition, calibration, and maintenance of test and measuring equipment
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Successfully completed technical vocational training and several years of professional experience in the field of quality assurance
- Good knowledge in the use of SAP QM and MS Excel
- Very good knowledge in the field of optical, mechanical, and electrical measuring and testing procedures and safe handling of corresponding test equipment for quality assurance
- Very good command of written and spoken German and English
- Outgoing personality, team player, willing to learn and perform with a high degree of diligence and flexibility
