About the Role

Gauzy, a world-leading material science company, is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to join its Quality team. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in promoting quality achievements and performance improvement throughout the site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing product quality testing, addressing all phases of product development and manufacturing. This will include incoming goods inspection planning and execution, accompanying and executing quality tests and checks alongside technical staff, laboratory analysis and production release, and management of calibration for measuring devices.

You will also be responsible for identifying and supervising the execution of relevant quality assurance-related training needs for the production team, managing and tracking MRB, ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislations, and monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports to improve quality.

Responsibilities
  • Execute product quality testing, addressing all phases of product development and manufacturing.
  • Incoming goods inspection planning and execution according to plan.
  • Accompanying and executing quality tests and checks alongside the technical staff.
  • Laboratory analysis and production release.
  • Management of calibration for measuring devices.
  • Identify and supervise the execution of relevant quality assurance-related training needs for the production team.
  • MRB - Management and tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international standards and legislations, such as ISO 9001, IATF16949, VDA, while setting them up and maintaining control and documentation procedures in accordance.
  • Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports to improve quality. Participation in audits.
  • Data collection and preparation for COAs / COCs.
  • Member of the cross-functional team for automotive core tools (, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, etc.).
  • Process owner for all quality assurance processes.
  • Establish standards and clearly defined quality methods for the owned processes.
  • Risk owner for all quality assurance risks.
Requirements
  • 3 - 5 Years of quality assurance experience in Production Processes within a manufacturing company.
  • Laboratory experience.
  • Experience with implementation and administration of quality assurance metrics.
  • Familiar with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, VDA.
  • Familiar with the automotive core tools (, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving methods ( 8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why).
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong technical understanding.
  • Project management experience advantageous.
  • Proficient in MS Office Tools particularly MS Excel.
  • High proficiency in written and spoken German (C2) and English (C1).
