Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role
As a Quality Assurance Specialist at SCHMID, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our products. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team and contribute to our success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality inspection plans and procedures in SAP
- Conduct incoming goods inspections and status definition of inspected parts in SAP
- Create initial sample reports and inspect/released initial sample parts (if necessary)
- Perform optical, mechanical, and electrical measuring and test procedures, and functional checks
- Develop, process, and complete Q-reports in SAP, including documentation of causes, corrective actions, and their effectiveness
- Clarify technical defects for externally procured parts with suppliers
- Support the purchasing department in the commercial processing of defective material deliveries
- Define, calibrate, and maintain test and measuring equipment
Requirements
- Successfully completed technical vocational training and several years of professional experience in quality assurance
- Good knowledge of SAP QM and MS Excel
- Very good knowledge of optical, mechanical, and electrical measuring and testing procedures, as well as safe handling of corresponding test equipment
- Very good command of written and spoken German and English
- Outgoing personality, team player, willing to learn, and perform with a high degree of diligence and flexibility
