Product Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Product Quality Manager at SCHMID, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products throughout the entire development and manufacturing process. This includes defining the parts to be inspected, creating inspection plans and algorithms in SAP, and conducting incoming goods inspections. You will also be responsible for creating initial sample reports, testing and releasing pilot series, and documenting causes, corrective actions, and their effects in quality notifications. Additionally, you will identify causes of customer complaints, implement measures for permanent elimination, and prepare 8D reports. You will work closely with the Process and Quality Manager to optimize product-related processes using lean and quality management methods. Your tasks will also include providing regular statistical surveys on product and part quality, supporting the Purchasing Department in supplier audits, and carrying out optical, mechanical, and electrical measurement and testing procedures.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have successfully completed technical vocational training and several years of professional experience in quality assurance. You should have good knowledge of SAP QM and MS Excel, as well as practical experience in the use of common lean and quality management methods. You should also be able to recognize and understand complex interrelationships, keep an eye on both the big picture and details, and have strong communication skills.
