Job Description

As a Strategic Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the entire order process, from receiving requests to placing and tracking orders until goods are received. You will also play an active part in contract and price negotiations to secure competitive conditions for our company.

You will select potential new suppliers and continuously expand cooperation, identify opportunities for cost and process optimisation, examine incoming invoices and approve them in conformity with our compliance policies, and coordinate between the consumer and the vendor in case of deficiencies or quality problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order management: Managing the entire order process, including receiving requests, placing and tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Contract negotiations: Participating in contract and price negotiations to secure competitive conditions for our company.
  • Supplier relationship management: Selecting potential new suppliers and expanding cooperation.
  • Cost optimisation: Identifying opportunities for cost and process optimisation.
  • Invoice coordination: Examining incoming invoices and approving them in conformity with our compliance policies.
  • Complaint management: Coordinating between the consumer and the vendor in case of deficiencies or quality problems.
Requirements
  • Completed commercial or technical vocational training, a degree in Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in operational purchasing, global procurement management, and/or supplier relationship management.
  • In-depth knowledge of purchasing and service management tools.
  • Proficient user skills in German and English, combined with negotiating skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities, the will to move things forward, and enthusiasm to make the best decision for our company.
