About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Maintenance Technician to join our team at Amazon Logistik Moenchengladbach GmbH. As a key member of our Reliability Maintenance Engineering Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance of our equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement best practices for maintaining and repairing equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and monitoring of equipment performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing proactive maintenance measures.
  • Lead and support a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and training to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering Team is a dynamic and experienced group of technicians and engineers who work together to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our equipment and systems. We are a team of problem-solvers who are passionate about innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • Relevant qualification as an Industrial Manager, Master Craftsman, or State-Approved Technician, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in leading teams and managing maintenance operations.
  • Advanced knowledge of automation and maintenance of conveyor systems.
  • Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken, and good English language skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in managing external contractors.
  • Understanding of SPS-based control systems and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in using computerized maintenance management systems to plan and record proactive and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Relevant degree in a technical field or business administration.
