Team Coordinator for Maintenance Operations
At Amazon, our maintenance and reliability team is integral to our dedication to progress and innovation. This group ensures that the technologies and tools we utilize continue to advance as our operations expand.

As a Senior RME Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our competitive edge by integrating cutting-edge technologies and discovering new efficient work practices.

Your focus will be on our operational processes to guarantee compliance with and enhancement of our stringent safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate machinery adhering to the highest safety protocols
  • Assess equipment performance and execute preventive maintenance
  • Guide and assist the technical team during operational shifts
  • Diagnose equipment malfunctions to reduce downtime
  • Promote continuous improvement and standardization of processes across the European network

A day in the life:


You will supervise a maintenance crew during your shift, ensuring all team members are equipped with the necessary tools in optimal working condition.

You will implement process enhancements based on your observations, utilizing tools such as SCADA for monitoring operations. Additionally, you will assist with administrative duties in partnership with leadership.

About the team:
The RME Team is dedicated to ensuring the optimal performance of equipment and facilities.

We consist of technicians and engineers guided by seasoned professionals, collaborating to maintain and repair equipment in Amazon's fulfillment centers globally.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a qualification as an Industrial Supervisor or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in team leadership
  • Background in automation and conveyor maintenance
  • Proficient in German and basic English language skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with third-party oversight
  • Knowledge of PLC-based control systems and compliance with legal standards
  • Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems
  • Degree in a technical or business discipline
