About the Role
Ramboll is seeking a highly skilled Safety Manager to join our team in the Transportation and Infrastructure sector. As a Safety Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe development of rail vehicles for our clients.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Analyze safety requirements throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating with various stakeholders
- Support risk and hazard analyses
- Develop safety plans in accordance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and manufacturer specifications
- Establish and ensure the creation of necessary documentation (safety case management)
- Oversee the integration of safety cases into the overall system, if required
- Provide technical and commercial project leadership
- Advise clients and pursue follow-up projects
- Train new team members
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A technical degree (Bachelor or Master) in a relevant field
- Knowledge of rail transportation and familiarity with functional safety and technical safety
- Fundamental understanding of RAMS (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) and relevant industry standards (e.g., CENELEC EN 50126, 50128, and 50129)
- Experience in project management and proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent German and English language skills
- A willingness to learn, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset
