Job Title: Master Data Management Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Master Data Management Team Lead to join our team at KWS Berlin GmbH. As a key member of our Global Transaction Center, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated team and shaping efficient processes and structures that will have a lasting impact on our success in operational procurement services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspiring, leading, and guiding employees of the Master Data Management team
  • Establishing efficient organizational structures and empowering all employees in the team to continuously improve service delivery
  • Supporting in creating a trustful and collaborative environment
  • Converting an overall strategy and overall policies into functional application and driving continuous process improvement
  • Engaging in and supporting cross-functional collaboration and efficient information flow between all relevant stakeholders
  • Driving standardization and harmonization in managing Master Data while keeping quality and customer satisfaction high
  • Enabling performance-driven management methodology and people development

Requirements:

  • Preferably an academic degree in business administration or a comparable course of study
  • Holistic understanding of master data management strategies and operations and its impact on other functions
  • Professional experience in a Shared Services Center environment
  • Very good user knowledge of relevant IT systems – e.g. SAP; ideally Glasswing (MS Office and others)
  • Ability to drive, lead, and sustainably implement change and continuous improvement
  • Proven experience in managing employees (leadership skills)
  • Very good project management skills
  • Ability to work in a team, negotiation skills, and assertiveness
  • Excellent communication skills with different target groups
  • Trained in conflict management – actively addressing conflicts and areas for improvement – paired with problem-solving skills
  • Analytical skills and a comprehension of the big picture
  • Strong customer orientation
  • Very good command of English (written and spoken); other languages are an advantage
