Become an Integral Part of EcoVadis as a Technical Team Leader

At EcoVadis, our Technology and Platform Services division is dedicated to architecting and securing the platform that underpins all our services, prioritizing scalability and ongoing enhancement through innovation and teamwork.

We are in search of a dedicated Technical Team Leader to join our growing product engineering division. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for guiding and enhancing the performance of the team, both individually and collectively. This position involves overseeing and supporting the team in reaching ambitious business goals within established timelines.

Your responsibilities will also include ensuring the quality of the team's deliverables, which requires the implementation of best practices across various aspects of the role. Collaborating with fellow engineering leaders is crucial to streamline development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of 6-8 engineers
  • Refine and maintain the development process with an emphasis on operational excellence
  • Set clear expectations and cultivate a positive workplace culture
  • Work closely with Product Owners & Product Managers to understand business requirements and priorities
  • Facilitate effective coordination and communication among engineering and product leadership teams
  • Utilize an evidence-based approach in decision-making
  • Stay informed about staffing and team technology capabilities
  • Collaborate with technical leaders to promote craftsmanship, availability, and scalability
  • Identify and address risks throughout the product development lifecycle

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering
  • 3+ years in a leadership or management role within software engineering
  • Excellent communication skills, including mentoring, coaching, and conflict resolution
  • Proven experience and passion for recruiting, developing, and guiding talent
  • Experience in Agile environments
  • Familiarity with modern web application development (knowledge of Azure, .NET & React is a plus)
  • Self-driven and a collaborative team player
  • Able to thrive in an international and multicultural setting within a rapidly growing organization
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
