idealo is a leading European shopping and comparison platform, with ~2.5 million visits per day, ~50,000 shops, and more than ~500 million product offers. We are active in six countries, including France, and are looking for a skilled Account Manager to join our team.

About the Role
  • As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and supporting our longtail partners with inquiries.
  • You will maintain and develop relationships with existing online partners, ensuring they are getting the most out of idealo.
  • You will identify new opportunities for your portfolio of accounts and conduct negotiations on a regular basis.
  • You will use your knowledge and expertise to provide active support for our merchants and the team through continued knowledge transfer.
  • You will derive the needs of our partners, regularly carrying out research to ensure you are up-to-date with market trends and the French e-commerce ecosystem.
Requirements
  • You have gained at least 1 year of experience in Account Management or Sales, ideally in e-commerce within the French market.
  • You have worked with a CRM system, such as Salesforce, and are familiar with everyday terms such as conversion rate and CPC.
  • You possess good negotiating and presentation skills and are a great listener.
  • You are comfortable with numbers and understand the importance of supporting facts with data.
  • You are passionate about working in a team, but also enjoy driving projects forward independently.
  • Excellent communication skills in the French language (C2) and fluency in English are required.
