Governmental Affairs Role at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Governmental Affairs Liaison. As a key member of our Strategic Communication team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our advocacy activities and monitoring relevant legislative and non-legislative proposals.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and assess relevant policies that may impact our business, providing timely and accurate analysis to inform our advocacy efforts.
  • Coordinate internal alignment on key policies, ensuring all relevant departments are informed and engaged.
  • Monitor EU-level political trends and developments, staying up-to-date on the latest news and updates.
  • Assist in organizing Institutional and stakeholders' meetings, events, and other activities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date internal databases and key position records.
  • Provide administrative and logistical support for the daily management of Governmental Affairs activities.
Your Profile:
  • Ongoing master studies in relevant fields, such as political science, law, or agricultural studies.
  • Strong interest in agri-food policies and politics, with a proven ability to build and maintain networks and engage with external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Fluent English language skills (C1 level), with a strong command of written and spoken English. German language skills are an asset.
