We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Governmental Affairs Specialist to join our team at KWS SAAT SE & Co. KGaA. As a key member of our Strategic Communication team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our advocacy activities and monitoring relevant legislative and non-legislative proposals.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Identify and assess relevant policies that may impact our business, providing timely and accurate analysis to inform our advocacy efforts.
- Coordinate internal alignment on key policies, ensuring all relevant departments are informed and engaged.
- Monitor EU-level political trends and developments, providing insights to inform our policy positions.
- Support the organization of Institutional and stakeholders' meetings, ensuring seamless logistics and effective communication.
- Maintain up-to-date internal databases and key positions, providing critical information to inform our advocacy efforts.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the Governmental Affairs team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Ongoing master studies in relevant fields, such as political science, law, or agricultural studies.
- Strong interest in agri-food policies and politics, with a proven ability to build and maintain networks with external stakeholders and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational skills, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical mindset and strategic thinking, with a proven ability to provide insightful analysis and recommendations.
- Fluent English language skills (C1 level), with a strong command of written and spoken communication.
