Strategic Business Analyst for Consumer Electronics

As a Strategic Business Analyst for the Consumer Electronics (CE) Team at rebuy, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our CE product offerings. This position transcends traditional category management, guiding the categories towards achieving significant revenue and profitability objectives. Your enthusiasm for physical products, combined with a strategic approach, will be crucial in managing our extensive assortment.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy and Planning:
You will oversee the sales planning and forecasting for your designated categories, from constructing the bottom-up budget to setting short-term commercial objectives. You will develop the category strategy, utilizing both internal and external data, and implement it with the collaboration of all departments. You will conduct cross-functional analyses to support trade-off decisions and projects that impact various aspects of the local Profit & Loss (P&L).Performance and Analytics:
You will track the business performance of your categories, identify and clarify deviations, derive commercial recommendations to address performance gaps, and execute them. You will be accountable for the financial success of your categories, analyzing performance and explaining P&L deviations to senior management.Commercial Ownership:
To achieve your targets, you will manage the sales mix for your categories:
You will create and implement pricing strategies for your assortment to maximize sales and profitability. In collaboration with the Pricing team, you will further develop internal pricing tools and methodologies. You will co-develop sales and marketing campaigns with the Campaign, CRM, and Paid Marketing teams. You will curate the relevant product assortment based on customer interest data, ensuring an optimized user journey in collaboration with Product and Content teams. You will assess market data to identify opportunities for assortment enhancement. You will formulate your sales strategy across multiple sales channels and countries, supported by the Marketplace and Country Management teams. Proficiency in English is essential. You should have over 5 years of experience in a consumer-focused commercial, financial, consulting, or highly analytical role. A solid understanding of the primary P&L lines in an e-commerce retail environment is required. You should be excited about both analyzing and implementing findings to drive your categories to success. You are a strategic thinker with exceptional analytical skills and a critical mindset. Strong technical skills in Excel are necessary, and SQL knowledge is a plus. A good grasp of inventory health metrics is important, as you will need to balance availability and overstock levels effectively. Excellent project management skills are required, with experience in working with cross-functional teams and leading complex projects by defining problems, analyzing components, breaking them down into subproblems, solving those subproblems, and integrating solutions.Location:
