Key Responsibilities- Advise on all legal sustainability issues, including LkSG, CSRD, and CSDDD
- Monitor European sustainability-driven legislative projects and communicate them to relevant departments and the Executive Board
- Support PUMA's sustainability organization from a legal perspective, including preparing meetings of the Sustainability Committee of the Supervisory Board
- Provide legal advice in the preparation of sustainability reporting
- Advise on all other compliance issues in the risk areas of bribery/corruption, conflicts of interest, business partner, anti-money laundering, and sanctions law
- Monitor legal developments in all key areas of the compliance organization and their internal communication
- Commission, coordinate, and manage external legal advisors
- Fully qualified lawyer under German law (Volljurist*in)
- About 4-6 years of professional experience in an international company or international law firm
- Relevant work experience in the field of ESG (and preferably in general Compliance)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent team player, who enjoys working in diverse teams and in an international environment with different departments
- Assertiveness, good business understanding with a sense of pragmatism and can-do attitude
