About the Role

3422 Walter AG is seeking a skilled Aerospace Aluminium Specialist to contribute to the development of a competitive product portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will identify market needs and profitable business growth opportunities in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities

1. Set direction for the development of tool offerings for the Aerospace Segment.
2. Be the driving force behind Walter's Aerospace initiatives, defining and implementing the strategic roadmap of tools for the sector.
3. Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify potential opportunities.
4. Develop and offer solutions for high-potential components and transversal application operations and features.
5. Collaborate with Sales Support to close local opportunities, sharing best practices and developing effective knowledge exchange.
6. Closely work with Product Managers to implement market and customer needs in component/feature/product specific solutions.
7. Document information and create platforms for information gathering and exchange.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
2. Five years of experience working with metal working products in the aerospace industry, preferably in aerospace structures manufacturing.
3. Strategic thinker with the ability to identify long-term developments and trends.
4. Proficiency with training and presentation skills to large and small groups.
5. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
6. High communicative competence in an international environment.
7. Very good knowledge of spoken and written English.
