About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Aluminium Specialist to join our team at 3422 Walter AG. As an industry expert, you will contribute to the development of our competitive product portfolio by identifying market needs and profitable business growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set direction for the development of tool offerings for the Aerospace Segment
  • Be the driving force behind our Aerospace initiatives
  • Define, implement, and maintain the strategic roadmap of tools for the Aerospace sector
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify potential opportunities
  • Develop and offer solutions for high-potential components and transversal application operations and features
  • Develop best practices for focus applications and provide sales support to find similar business opportunities
  • Promote relevant products, solutions, and services to potential and existing customers to enhance market shares
  • Closely collaborate with Sales Support to execute local opportunities and develop effective ways of knowledge exchange
  • Closely collaborate with Product Managers to implement market and customer needs in component/feature/product-specific solutions
  • Document information and create appropriate platforms for information gathering and exchange

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Five years of experience working with metal working products in the aerospace industry, preferably in aerospace structures manufacturing
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify long-term developments and trends
  • Proficiency with training and presentation skills to large and small groups
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required
  • Ability to build, maintain, and manage networks
  • High communicative competence in an international environment
  • Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
