Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR) is seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator to join the Helmholtz Institute Freiberg for Resource Technology (HIF). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all project activities in alignment with the project plan, liaising with project partners and stakeholders, and monitoring project progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project activities and ensure timely submission of deliverables
  • Liaise with project partners and stakeholders to maintain effective communication and collaboration
  • Monitor project progress and prepare progress reports
  • Manage project budget and track expenditures
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, workshops, and events
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements:

  • Completed university studies in a scientific degree, preferably in geosciences or related fields
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Relevant professional experience in the research fields mentioned in the project description
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse and international team
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software
