Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to join our Engineering team. This role involves providing first- and second-level technical support to our colleagues, handling complex service requests, and contributing to the further development of our IT infrastructure and processes. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and services.

About the Role

  • Setup, configuration, and maintenance of notebooks, printers, conference room equipment, and other hardware
  • Administration of local infrastructure - MacOS, Windows, Cisco Infrastructure (Access Points, Routers)
  • Management of accounts and access rights (G Suite, VPN access, etc.)
  • Further development of the IT infrastructure and IT processes for a rapidly growing company and implementation of IT infrastructure projects
  • Development and establishment of a centralized identification and authentication platform
  • Handling of complex service requests for your colleague in the context of 1st and 2nd level support
  • Creation of technical documentation and reports
  • Hardware selection and management

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies in computer science or training in the field of IT (specialist information technology system integration or similar)
  • Experience in 1st and 2nd level IT support
  • High sense of responsibility in dealing with sensitive data
  • Strong service orientation and high quality awareness
  • Proactive, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
  • Fluent in German and English
  • Experience with identity and access management solutions (Okta) as well as endpoint management solutions (VMWare Workspace One) is a plus

We offer a competitive salary between €55,000 and €65,000 per year, depending on your qualifications and experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a company pension scheme and a monthly contribution towards public transportation costs.
