Postdoctoral Researcher

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Fellow to join our team at the Vascular Dysfunction Department. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Sofia Iris Bibli and contribute to a research project focused on understanding mitochondria metabolism and dynamics in the regulation of vascular aging and regeneration.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in a research project investigating the role of mitochondria in vascular aging and regeneration
- Apply advanced proteomic, metabolomic, and epigenetic methodologies to analyze experimental data
- Develop and implement in vitro and in vivo models of vascular regeneration
- Conduct molecular cloning, reporter systems, and live cell imaging experiments
- Collect, analyze, and document experimental data, and prepare material for publication
- PhD in biology, biochemistry, proteomics, or a related field
- Experience in molecular biology, mitochondria biology, metabolism, or protein function
- Experience with primary cells and bioinformatics is an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken English language skills
