About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Service Assistant to join our team at Volkswagen Group Retail Deutschland. As a Service Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between customers, service advisors, and other departments to ensure efficient communication and resolution of customer inquiries.
  • Manage customer interactions, including greeting, organizing, and servicing customers in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process and prepare service orders, including accepting and preparing repair orders for service advisors.
  • Coordinate vehicle returns and provide clear explanations of repair work and associated costs.
  • Oversee service dispositions and manage cash handling responsibilities.
  • Monitor and analyze service metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.

Requirements:

  • A completed commercial vocational training or equivalent experience in the automotive industry.
  • Relevant work experience in the automotive sector, preferably in a service-related role.
  • Desirable: certification in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • High level of customer service orientation, with a focus on meeting customer needs and expectations.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
