About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Avionics Expert to join our team at Bishop GmbH. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing expert technical support and solutions to our customers in the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and resolution of technical issues and incidents from our customer fleet
  • Coordination and implementation of complex technical solutions for fleet-wide topics
  • Participation in the development of new products and services
  • Establishment of close cooperation with key suppliers to promote product reliability
  • Validation of technical aspects of Service Bulletins
  • Participation in accident investigations and processes
  • Technical support through experts to maintain the airworthiness of the customer fleet
  • Collection of data on technical events during operation and filtering of relevant information for the development office
  • Improvement of fleet availability
  • Occasional business trips to the customer's site for error analysis

Requirements:

  • High level of customer orientation and ability to promote customer relationships
  • Excellent team and communication skills
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
  • Travel and availability

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
  • At least 3 years of experience in the aerospace industry

Skills:

  • MS Office with knowledge of detail functions
  • SAP with knowledge of detail functions

Language Skills:

  • German (verhandlungssicher)
  • English (verhandlungssicher)

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in the operational operation of aircraft
  • Excellent avionics expertise
