Digital Twin Project Lead for Renewable Energy

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Digital Twin Project Lead to join our team at enercity AG. As a key member of our project management office, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams and ensuring the successful delivery of complex projects.

About the Role:

The Digital Twin Project Lead will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, defining milestones, and monitoring progress. You will also lead cross-functional teams of business and IT experts, ensuring a positive team culture and targeted development of team members to achieve set project goals.

You will communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all relevant parties are informed about project status. You will identify communication requirements of stakeholders and translate these into project governance and planning.

You will implement effective risk management and quality control mechanisms to ensure solutions meet project requirements and objectives. Additionally, you will coach, advise, and further develop project manager colleagues in relevant project management functions.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in computer science, business informatics, economics, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification. You will also have several years of experience in project management of complex, cross-functional projects and in the project management office.

Ideally, you will have experience in multi-project management and managing internal and external project partners. Familiarity with utility company processes and business IT is also desirable.

You will be characterized by a high degree of initiative, sense of responsibility, and independent work. You will enjoy making decisions and work reliably as part of a team.

You will use your active communication skills effectively in a demanding work environment, also in English if required. You will also have the ability to motivate and harmonize the needs of different stakeholders.
