We are seeking a highly skilled Energy Management Leader to join our team at Clarios.
About the RoleThis is a challenging opportunity for an experienced professional in energy and environmental sustainability to lead our energy management initiatives across the EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities- Coach plants and HQ functions to comply with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 requirements, ensuring effective implementation and continuous improvement of our energy management system.
- Collaborate closely with internal auditors to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to energy consumption, cost, and CO2 emissions, as well as strategic metrics linked to our company's energy programs and legal obligations.
- Develop and implement regional energy reduction technologies, creating a knowledge repository of best practices and solutions identified internally and within the industry.
- Design and execute a three-year energy reduction program in all EMEA locations, aligning with our company's sustainability goals.
- Establish a comprehensive database for energy and sustainability data, ensuring necessary investments for future compliance.
- Conduct risk assessments to drive mitigation strategies based on priorities and involve regional sustainability initiatives.
- Support the setup of environmental accruals with the finance team.
- Masters degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Solid experience in energy and/or environmental sustainability.
- Ideal certification as Environmental and Energy Management Specialist (Beauftragte/r).
- Ideal certification as an internal auditor.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Fluency in English.
- Bonus: German and/or Spanish language skills.
