About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Competence Development Specialist to join our team at Atlas Copco. As a key member of our Global Competence Development Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing technical training programs for our field service engineers and trainers worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and create training materials in collaboration with R&D, Product Management, and Innovation Centre teams.
  • Design and deliver technical training sessions for our Service technicians and trainers globally, both virtually and in-classroom.
  • Support Engineers and Trainers in our Customer Centers in their competence development.
  • Develop and record individual assessments related to competence requirements.
  • Ensure safe working practices are adapted and training provided to support safe working methods.

Requirements

  • Good presentation skills and experience in coordinating and providing technical trainings.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with people across all levels in the organization.
  • A strong and solid technical education background.
  • Profound knowledge of the product and projects you support.
  • Ability to travel globally between 15-30%.
  • Ideal candidate will have a solid technical background and knowledge of IAS products or Atlas Copco Fastening systems.
  • Good understanding of customer center's service activities.
  • Fluent English language skills.
