Sales Underwriting Specialist

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Sales Underwriting Specialist to enhance our underwriting team within the industrial insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive technical and acquisition support to our sales associates.
  • Perform risk evaluations, assessments, and underwriting within your designated authority.
  • Cultivate and expand relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new sales partnerships.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for diverse sales channels.
  • Develop and implement technical and sales training programs for both internal staff and external partners.
  • Engage in product development initiatives and contribute to shaping its content.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business Administration is preferred; alternatively, a technical degree or equivalent commercial training is acceptable.
  • Significant experience in industrial property insurance, particularly with complex and international risks.
  • A strong focus on customer service and sales.
  • Ability to work independently with a profit-oriented and solution-focused mindset.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities and a sense of accountability.
  • High resilience and exceptional negotiation skills.
