Counselor - Adolescent Support and Counseling Services

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Counselor to join our team at Magellan Health Services. As an ASACS Counselor, you will play a critical role in implementing the Adolescent Support and Counseling Services (ASACS) Program at assigned school-based locations.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of referred adolescents and families to identify their unique needs and develop individualized service plans.
- Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions to promote resiliency, reduce mental health disorders, and develop general life skills.
- Collaborate with community stakeholders, including the garrison command, to address adolescent substance use issues and trends.
- Develop and implement community-wide drug awareness campaigns to promote healthy behaviors and prevent substance abuse.
- Master's degree from an accredited university with CACREP accreditation in counseling programs.
- Drug and Alcohol Certification (MRAS, CSAC, CAP, etc.).
- Licensed as an independent level provider Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor/Licensed Professional Counselor (LHMC/LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Clinical/Counseling Psychologist at PhD level, with clinical license.
- Ability to operate general office equipment, including computers, phones, and electronic medical records.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
