Deployment Support Specialist

Job Summary

The U.S. Army Europe and Africa is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Deployment Processing Center Lodging Clerk. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to deployed soldiers and government employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide cleaning services and limited administrative support to the Deployment Processing Center
  • Manage a reception desk, issue rooms and overflow billeting areas to Government Personnel and Soldiers
  • Conduct verbal briefings for all personnel lodging at the center
  • Maintain a rolling count of personnel staying at the center, complete shift reports, and update billeting occupancy listings
  • Report incidents, emergencies, safety violations, and shortages/overages of supplies and damaged or missing equipment to management or emergency services
Requirements
  • Must have a valid driver's license class B
  • Office automation skills required
  • English Language Proficiency level B1 and German Language Proficiency level C1 required
Working Conditions

The incumbent of this position is obligated to perform shift work (3 Shifts, one must be at night) weekend and holiday work. Applicants must be willing and able to perform on-call duty. Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) occasionally required. Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
