About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Layout Engineer to join our team at Alstom. As a Layout Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing the layout of our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement layout designs for manufacturing processes
- Collaborate with Industrial Managers and PME Managers to identify potential footprints of manufacturing processes
- Evaluate the total cost of layout, including study, realization, and other categories
- Perform layout studies, write functional specifications, and obtain approval from Process & Manufacturing engineers
- Design and integrate specific equipment, tooling, machines, and workstations
- Ensure good respect of EHS standards and ergonomics rules
About You
We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, or Plant Maintenance background with 5 years' experience preferably in the railway industry
- Technical experience of Process & Manufacturing Engineering
- Good practice of CAD and PLM tools (CATIA, DELMIA...)
- Working knowledge in Quality, EHS standards, and Ergonomics
- Familiar with IS common tools
- Process FMEA, QRQC
- Technical education. Mechanics. Automation.
- English read, written, spoken
