Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive certification strategy for our electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOLs), ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Verify the design and configuration of our aircraft, ensuring that they meet the required certification standards and specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that all aspects of the certification process are adequately covered.
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of other nominated Compliance Verification Engineers (CVEs) to ensure a smooth and efficient certification process.

Requirements

  • Sound technical education in a relevant field, such as aerospace engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the aviation industry, preferably in multiple disciplines and on aircraft integration level as a Design Engineer or CVE.
  • Knowledge of procedures applicable to aviation, especially to design organizations according to EASA Part 21.
  • Knowledge of certification requirements applicable to type certification, typical certification programs, and related processes.
  • Experience with interpretation of applicable Certification Specifications.
  • Experience in generation and verification of compliance documentation.
  • Detailed technical knowledge of aircraft structures and related subjects.
  • Detailed knowledge of the construction method composite, metal, and material qualification.
