Job Title: Senior Manager Contract Logistics
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager Contract Logistics to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing projects, sites, and teams to ensure smooth operations and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects and lead cross-functional teams to ensure project plans are executed and progress is monitored.
- Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimation and tracking, to ensure compliance with approved budgets.
- Drive operational site management, acting as an integral interface to customers, to ensure financial, operational, and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Oversee daily operations and projects to ensure smooth execution, including financial, operational, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Lead and motivate staff to encourage maximum performance and dedication in challenging circumstances.
- Evaluate current operational processes to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure strict adherence to budgeted revenue and operating income goals, establishing and maintaining day-to-day fiscal management practices in compliance with industry standards.
- Analyze regular financial performance indicators and make necessary adjustments to ensure profitability for the site.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial or mechanical engineering, logistics, or business administration.
- Profound knowledge of economic, commercial, and political issues to build and grow the business and projects with impactful outcomes.
- 5+ years' experience leading contract logistics operations in a global multinational company.
- Ability to work independently with limited direction and guidance, while also enjoying collaborating across dynamic and multi-cultural teams.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Fluent English and German language skills, with additional languages a bonus.
- Ready to travel 50-75% of the time across the region to operations and clients.
