Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Natural Carbon Project Expert to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Sourcing and assessing natural carbon projects, including financial due diligence
- Developing project design documents and supporting carbon certification cycles
- Managing our existing project portfolio to meet client demand in quality and quantity
- Gathering market intelligence on trends, regulations, and policies
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree in economics, resource management, forestry, agriculture, or a related field
- At least 3 years of professional experience in sustainable land use and carbon markets
- Proven experience in managing multiple projects in an international team
- Experience in preparing business and financial plans for natural carbon projects or similar
- Fluency in English and Spanish or French, with additional languages an advantage
- Willingness to travel
- Professional experience in Latin America, Africa, or South-East Asia is an advantage
