Compliance and AFC Luxembourg Team Member

At 0871 Deutsche Bank Luxembourg S.A., we are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Compliance and AFC team as an intern. As a key member of this team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily business operations and advising business divisions on various Compliance matters.

About the Job

The role of the internship is multifaceted and requires a student in the field of economics or business management who is flexible, takes initiative, and has excellent communication skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting daily Compliance tasks, including negative list checks, embargo-related investigations, name list screenings, and transaction monitoring. Additionally, they will support reporting, assist in ad-hoc and key Compliance project work, conduct regular Compliance monitoring, act as a backup during absences, and ensure global and local Compliance policies are implemented.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily Compliance tasks, including negative list checks, embargo-related investigations, name list screenings, and transaction monitoring
  • Support reporting and assist in ad-hoc and key Compliance project work
  • Conduct regular Compliance monitoring and ensure global and local Compliance policies are implemented
  • Act as a backup during absences
Requirements
  • Student in the field of economics or business management
  • Flexibility, personal initiative, and structured working
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Good MS-Office skills, with extensive work experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and internal IT applications
  • Very good English language skills, with additional language skills being an advantage
