Technical Sales Representative for Engineered Valves

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will be a highly organized, self-motivated sales professional with excellent communication skills. They will promote and sell Pure-Flo and EnviZion (PF) products directly in the BioPharm market through distributors, representatives, OEMs, and engineering firms (A&Es).

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize persuasion, logic, and product expertise to promote and sell valves/products to end-users, engineering companies, OEMs, and distributors.
  • Build customer intimacy with key accounts and maintain a strong distribution network in the territory.
  • Develop and expand relationships with OEM customers and identify new CAPEX-projects to specify and install ITT valves.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from lead generation to aftermarket support, and maintain an up-to-date territory plan.
  • Travel nationally and internationally (approximately 60% of the time) to visit key accounts and distributors to achieve intimate customer contacts.
  • Perform specification work for day-to-day business and on projects with A&Es, OEMs, and end-users.
  • Conduct product information seminars and training for end-users, A&E accounts, distributors, and representatives.
  • Provide ITT with detailed information on the competitive landscape in the territory and maintain reports for active projects and opportunities.
  • Communicate extensively with direct supervisors on all customers, sales channels, and company matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or 7 years of experience in the BioPharm industry.
  • At least 5 years of outside diaphragm valve sales experience in BioPharm or good experience in channel management, other valve types, and/or capital equipment.
  • Fluency in German and English (verbally and in writing).

Working Conditions

The candidate will work in a dynamic environment with a focus on sales and customer relationships. They will be required to travel extensively and work independently to achieve sales goals and objectives.
