Strategic Procurement Expert

DSJ Global is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Expert to join their team in Germany. As a key member of the procurement team, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, conducting market research, and negotiating contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the entire supplier relationship management process, including tendering, contract finalization, and supplier qualification.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and maintain supplier master data in the system.
  • Prepare and execute tenders for required goods and services, analyze received offers, and negotiate terms with suppliers.
  • Draft contracts and provide recommendations to support decision-making on supplier selection.
  • Evaluate supplier performance against predefined key performance indicators and assess supplier-specific risks.
Your Profile:
  • A degree in business administration, preferably with a focus on capital goods.
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in strategic purchasing or comparable commercial training.
  • Proven expertise in managing supplier relationships, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution abilities, excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fluency in both written and spoken German and English.
