Accounting Expertise for Global Growth

BIRKENSTOCK GROUP B.V. & CO. KG is a leading global brand with a strong presence in the footwear industry. As a Group Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our international expansion.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards and group accounting policies
  • Support local accounting teams with consolidation issues and participate in the group audit process
  • Develop and maintain the Group Accounting Policy, ensuring quality and compliance with IFRS standards
  • Coordinate and implement consolidation tasks, including capital and debt consolidation, expense and income consolidation, and intercompany profit elimination
  • Communicate with subsidiaries on accounting topics and resolve IFRS-related questions
  • Proactively optimize tools and processes in group accounting and further develop the Group Accounting Policy and Chart of Accounts
Your Profile
  • Hold a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance/Accounting or have a commercial apprenticeship
  • Have 2-3 years of professional experience in auditing or group accounting in a comparable position, ideally in an international environment
  • Possess strong knowledge of accounting and group accounting according to IFRS, with experience in LucaNet being a plus
  • Exhibit a hands-on mentality, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented working style
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English, with German being a nice-to-have
