Business Innovation Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the Elia Group innovation network, including identifying, evaluating, and integrating suitable partner companies in alignment with the Elia Group innovation strategy and innovation project managers.
  • Act as an intermediary between external ecosystems and internal stakeholders to promote and accelerate innovation activities and knowledge advancement in the core business.
  • Effectively implement and anchor open innovation processes and tools (e.g. Trend Radar) in the innovation department and at the interface to core business units.
  • Establish KPI monitoring to evaluate the continuous performance and value creation of established and new collaborations.
  • Actively communicate news from the network as well as best practices and represent the Elia Group/50Hertz in relevant committees and consortia, e.g. ENTSO-E "Research, Development & Innovation Committee".
  • Optimize processes and integrate network management into the overarching innovation project portfolio management.
Required Profile:
  • Hold a degree in business engineering, economics, or another subject with a focus on innovation and/or entrepreneurship.
  • Have at least five years of experience in innovation management.
  • Have experience in building open innovation networks.
  • Possess project management skills and a track record of realized innovation projects.
  • Be fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
