Project OverviewThe project focuses on developing a new type of high-temperature fuel cell concept based on thin films crystallized by laser radiation. This innovative approach aims to overcome existing limitations of the technology, such as cycle stability and high production costs.
Responsibilities- Extension of a test stand for in-situ investigation of laser-based solid phase crystallization of thin oxide ceramic layers
- Deposition of thin films using spin coating
- Planning, execution, and evaluation of experiments with a test stand setup
- Characterization of processed samples, including XRD and spectrometry
- Studying materials science, physics, or a comparable field
- Responsible, structured, and independent work approach
- Previous knowledge in laser technology or laser material processing is advantageous but not essential
- Practice-oriented research in an innovative working environment
- A creative and interdisciplinary working environment in a highly motivated team
- Excellent machinery and equipment
