Job Overview

Burberry is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Store Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of the store's back of house team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store's administrative systems and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Store Manager in implementing procedures to streamline and safeguard the store's operations, minimizing losses and ensuring compliance with company administration systems and procedures.
  • Effectively manage the back of house team, including talent acquisition, development, and nurturing, to drive store standards, productivity, and client experience.
  • Lead the aftersales process, including coordination with on-site tailors and external vendors, to elevate the client experience.
  • Manage the front of house replenishment of stock and non-stock articles to support the client experience.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Standards and Operations team to address store issues, such as deliveries, dispatches, uniforms, facilities, and maintenance.
  • Support the Store Manager in managing the Asset and Profit Protection team to reduce shrinkage.
  • Ensure accurate inventory control and collaborate with marketing, client engagement, merchandising, visual merchandising, and other departments as needed.
  • Maintain high standards of cleaning, maintenance, and Health and Safety, including leading local legislation requirements.
  • Manage the cash office and administrator to ensure all cash and payment procedures are followed.
Requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a busy team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet business needs.
  • 1-2 years of management experience.
  • Previous administration experience and cash handling experience.
  • Previous experience with SAP is desirable.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Passion for technology and ability to adapt to new technology.

  • High levels of staff retention.
  • Accurate reporting.
